FAQ / Policies




SHIPPING

Please be sure to confirm your shipping address when placing an order. If there is a mistake with your address while purchasing, please contact me as soon as possible to correct. I will not be responsible for incorrect mailing addresses.

All orders are shipped First Class USPS or Priority Mail and a tracking number will be provided.
Please know that I do everything possible to insure a safe delivery of your jewelry! I personally hand deliver every package directly to my local post office. Once the order is dropped off at the post office, the order is now your responsibility. While I rarely have had issues with the post office, delays can happen. Please contact USPS or your local post office if any issues should arise.
I cannot be responsible for lost, stolen, or damaged packages. Please consider purchasing additional insurance for your package. This is not automatically included.
Tracking is included in basic shipping to some countries but not all. Buyers are responsible for any customs and import taxes that may apply. I'm not responsible for delays due to customs.
Any packages returned to sender by the post office, due to the customer not paying customs/taxes and/or providing the incorrect shipping address, will not receive a refund on shipping costs and is subject to a 20% restocking fee. The customer may pay for the item to be re-shipped to the correct address with additional shipping fee.
  
 

CARE INSTRUCTIONS

To properly care for your one-of-a-kind piece, take care while wearing as natural stones can be delicate. To prolong the life of your piece, I suggest you remove it before submerging it in water. It’s best to remove your jewelry before swimming, bathing, washing the dishes, etc. When not in use, store your piece in a cool dry place.

*Pro tip: save those silica gel packets from various purchases and tuck them in with wherever you store your jewelry to help control moisture!

Metals like silver and brass naturally react to the environment and moisture over time and create patina. Sometimes metals can react to your body’s chemistry or environment.
The best way to clean your jewelry is to use a clean, soft, dry microfiber cloth to gently remove fingerprints, dirt, residue, and oils. Avoid using any harsh chemicals or jewelry cleaners as these can damage the surface of the stone or remove the patina on your piece.
A small blue polishing cloth is provided in each order to keep your jewelry looking beautiful. If you would like your DWC Creative jewelry professionally cleaned or polished up, just pay for shipping and I’ll clean them up for no additional fee! Please contact me to arrange shipment or drop off.
 


HOW WILL MY JEWELRY ARRIVE?
 
All items are secured in jewelry boxes, tied up in twine, wrapped in tissue paper, and then shipped in padded eco friendly mailers.
 

Purchasing for a friend or loved one? My packaging is intentionally designed to look like a gift! I will happily write a short note for your personalized gift, simply leave me a note at checkout.
A receipt is never included in any shipment unless requested. Please refer to your email confirmation or online account for a receipt.
  
 

RETURNS
 

To avoid the need for refunds or exchanges, PLEASE read product listings thoroughly. I work hard to write clear and concise descriptions that contain all the information necessary to avoid confusion and make an informed purchase.

I am aware that because some items in collections tend to sell quickly, people are shopping in a rush, but this is why I include as much information as possible in my preview posts on Instagram (@dwccreative). I am always happy to answer questions via IG DM, comments, or email during the preview phase of a collection. 

I do not allow returns or exchanges based on wrong size or buyer's remorse. All listings include detailed sizes and measurements. 

If you are truly dissatisfied with your purchase or there was a mistake on my end, please email me and we can discuss the best option. 

Ring sizers are free in my shop to reference for fit. Please don't hesitate to reach out if you need more information or additional pictures of the item before purchasing.
 
  

WHAT’S MY SIZE?
 
RINGS
The most accurate way to find your ring size is to use a Ring Multi-Sizer. These are provided for free with any order or you just pay for shipping. Easy instructions for use are provided with the tool. 

You can also stop by any local jeweler and simply ask them to measure your finger. You also can bring a ring that you know fits well and have them measure it.
Keep in mind that thicker ring bands run smaller and you may have to size up half or one full ring size larger. You may also have to account for sizing up on your ring size if you stack multiple rings on one finger. I always do my best to have accurate sizes for thicker ring bands (mandrel size vs ring size) so feel free to ask me any questions before you order!
 
BRACELETS
Bracelets are based on preference of where you wear them on your arm, but the easiest way to find your wrist size is to simply measure your wrist with a soft tape measure. (If you do not own a flexible ruler, take a piece of string and wrap it around your wrist and then measure the string) If your wrist is 7 inches, a 5.5 inch bracelet may still fit because it has over a 1 inch opening. Most bracelets can be slightly resized by pinching and pulling.
By request, some bracelets may be shortened to your preferred fit. Please contact me if you have any questions.
   

CAN I PUT A PIECE ON LAYAWAY OR ARRANGE MULTIPLE PAYMENTS?
Shop Pay Installments is a new feature that offers customers the option to pay in full at checkout, or to split their purchase into four equal, interest-free installment payments for orders between 50 USD and 3,000 USD. There are no additional charges, interest rates, or late fees passed on to customers.
 

CUSTOM ORDERS
 
I occasionally take a few amount of custom orders depending on my work load and current deadlines. Feel free to contact me if you have a request, but please note that there may be a 2-6 week wait time depending on the task and current schedule.
All custom orders require full payment before I start working on your piece. Custom orders are non-refundable.
Note that I often request ring size suggestions on Instagram before starting a collection to best fit customer needs. If you think you’ll want a ring from a collection I am currently working on, send me an Instagram message and I just may make one in your size!
